Go Ape
Head into the forest for a tree top adventure you and your little people will never forget.  There are adventures for all ages and locations across the UK.  For ages six to twelve the Tree Top Junior is a fun filled hour of canopy exploring, trail blazing and obstacles to enjoy. You’ll negotiate crossings and finish on a high with an awesome zip wire.  The courses are ultra safe and designed with the environment in mind.  Nothing is bolted to the trees, braces are used, that grip the trunks and our platforms rest on these. These braces are loosened as the tree grows.

Daunt Books Marylebone
If you have not readily adopted a Kindle, you can easily while away an hour or two in this beautiful Edwardian bookstore built in 1910.  It’s magical, with its wooden, galleried room, large arched window and the books arranged principally by country, whatever the nature of the book – fiction, non-fiction, biography, history, guide or novel.  The intention was and still is to create a wonderful browsing journey, both for the traveller and the general reader, which it does ! PS. The kids section is great.

Granger & Co | Kings Cross
The latest addition in Australian celebrity chef Bill Granger’s restaurant empire.  Granger & Co is perfect for weekend brunch or dinner with the kids.  Get there early for brunch (not difficult if you have little ones waking you at the crack of dawn) or 6pm for dinner, to avoid the queues (no reservations grrrr !). Spacious with seamless, friendly service, and an eclectic menu that is guaranteed to have something on it for everyone, Granger’s is an easy space to dine out, en famille.  What I’m going back for ? The cold drip coffee negroni and the tuna poke.  Delicious.
